CocoBrisa to Launch in Viman Nagar as a Day-to-Night Café-Bar Concept

CocoBrisa, a new day-to-night café-bar, is set to open in Viman Nagar this May. Backed by the founders of Magnus Hotels, the venture marks the group’s expansion into hospitality, extending its focus from real estate into experience-led social spaces. Positioned as an all-day destination, CocoBrisa is designed to transition seamlessly from a relaxed café setting in the morning to a more social, cocktail-led environment by evening.

The concept addresses a clear gap in the neighbourhood’s dining landscape, offering a format that remains relevant across the day, from coffee meetings and casual lunches to after-work gatherings and late evenings.

The venture is led by founders Sagar Kusalkar and Gurinder Pal Singh, who bring a shared vision along with complementary expertise across concept development, operations, and business strategy.

Together, they have shaped CocoBrisa as an experience-first space, balancing design, functionality, and long-term scalability, while extending Magnus Hotels’ philosophy into the hospitality space. “Today’s spaces need to reflect how people move through their day,” said Kusalkar.

“With CocoBrisa, we wanted to build something that evolves with those moments; equally suited for work, leisure, and social connection.” Singh added, “Our focus has been on creating a concept that is not only engaging but also sustainable as a business, something that integrates into the neighbourhood and grows with its audience over time.”

CocoBrisa will feature a mix of café seating, social dining areas, and a dedicated bar program, supported by music-led evenings and ongoing programming designed to encourage repeat visits.

The emphasis is on creating a space that becomes part of people’s daily and weekly routines, rather than a one-time destination. With Viman Nagar continuing to attract a mix of professionals, travellers, and a socially active audience, CocoBrisa enters one of Pune’s most competitive hospitality districts with a differentiated, all-day format. CocoBrisa is scheduled to open in May 2026.
